Alsop High School

Alsop is the 2nd largest secondary school in the city with nearly 1800 students on the roll, including over 300 in the 6th form. At the last Ofsted inspection Alsop was named as "an outstanding school where students make exceptional progress". We are seen as a high performing specialist school by central government and have won many national and local awards in recent years. 2012 saw the introduction of an Arts foundation course set within the school site offering a broad based foundation diploma offering various pathways into higher education.
