Knotty Ash Community Primary School

About This School

Knotty Ash is a warm and welcoming single form entry school with a nursery. We have a deaf resource base for profoundly deaf children who are included for art lessons and events. We have an annual themed arts week and enjoy being involved in collaborative art projects. Year 5 used 'Alice in Wonderland'and Liverpool Biennial 2018 'Beautiful world. where are you?' as inspiration for their artwork. They considered looking through a keyhole from two different perspectives. Not only did they imagine the beautiful world that could be seen but also asked who is on the other side looking through?
